Our Personal Injury team is headed up by Marc Porritt-Allison who worked defending personal injury cases for QBE insurance for 5 years before moving into private practice. .
The main areas of work that are covered in the department are accident and industrial disease covering asbestos, VWF, deafness etc. We have also successfully defended and advanced stress at work claims and RSI.
We have also dealt with clinical negligence and prosecution matters. The department has a claimant slant but with vast experience of defendant work as well. We have acted for clients in defending HSE prosecutions and dealt with some of our own client’s claims that have been made against them.
We feel that our claimant and defendant experience puts us in a unique position to carry out the work.
