Age UK has launched a campaign to get prospective MPS to sign up to become Age Champions ahead of the General Election.

Prospective Parliamentary candidates who do so will:

Receive an Area Profile for their constituency providing a unique insight into age-related issues in the local area.
Be put in touch with their local Age UK, who may be running a hustings event with older people in the run up to polling day in May.
After the election, Age UK keep in touch with them as an MP, providing key news and insights to help them to understand how to help to make their constituency and the UK ‘a great place to grow older.’ Find out more at: http://www.ageuk.org.uk/generalelection/age-champion-mp/
