Changes are afoot at law firm Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors LLP with the announcement of current Senior and Managing Director Andrew Faulkes’ retirement on 30th April 2012. Andrew is continuing his work in the capacity of Consultant to the 150 year old, North Yorkshire based law firm that has offices in York, Malton and Selby.

Andrew practised initially in Hull and Selby before joining Crombie Wilkinson in 1991 and has worked out of the York office for the past twenty one years being well known and respected for his work in property development and planning law.

Andrew will be succeeded as Senior Partner by Jennifer Bartram known for her work and expertise in agricultural law in North Yorkshire and as Managing Director by Duncan Morter, former Head of Commercial Property at the firm, who both look forward to the challenge of steering Crombie Wilkinson in the future with their fellow Directors.

Andrew Faulkes commented “I have thoroughly enjoyed both my work with clients and my role in developing and directing the firm over the past twenty one years. I have met some incredible people and had the good fortune to be involved in a wide range of local projects and activities over the years. I wish Jenni and Duncan every success in their new roles within the firm, they have a highly experienced and professional team behind them.”

Other changes that have taken place at the firm recently include Abigail Mitchell joining the firm in mid 2011 and taking over as Head of Property in March and Jessica Roberts joining the firm and taking up the new role of Head of Commercial, managing a team of ten legal advisors across the firm’s three offices to offer a full corporate and commercial law service to business clients.
