The NFU has invited the North Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Julia Mulligan to speak to NFU members at first hand to hear her plans for tackling rural crime across the county and give members the chance to raise any issues and concerns that they may have.   The meeting starts at 7pm on Monday 13 May at the Golden Fleece, Thirsk. At the same time there is a Rural Crime Briefing at Cleveland Police HQ, Middlesbrough on Tuesday 7 May at 6pm. This meeting is an opportunity to get an update on the Rural Crime Action Plan and also a chance to meet the PPC who will be present throughout the meeting.
