However, complicating factors are sometimes encountered on transactions which necessitate additional work being carried our and which could not be taken into account at the start of the transaction when the costs estimate is given. We will make every effort to adhere to the estimate but if additional work becomes necessary then we will contact you to discuss what is required and the additional costs for that work.
Should the transaction not complete for any reason then the firm’s charges for the work will be an amount which is reasonable having regard to the amount of work done by that stage in the transaction together with VAT and any payments to others already incurred.
