Supporting our Armed Forces community

We have taken the next step in demonstrating our support for our Armed Forces community by applying for and receiving the Bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS). The ERS recognises commitment and support from UK employers for defence personnel. The scheme comprises Bronze, Silver and Gold awards for employers who support those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families. Crombie Wilkinson is now working towards the Silver Award in 2020.

Chris Myles, Director at Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors said, “After signing up to the Armed Forces Covenant in March 2017, offering a discount to Armed Forces via the Defence Discount Scheme and now working with Ian Cartwright, York and North Yorkshire Armed Forces Covenant Project Manager, and the York Armed Forces Covenant Delivery Group, I am proud to see the firm really is demonstrating our commitment to supporting the community work taking place across the City and wider region. We are working towards more inclusion of armed forces ex-personnel being involved with the firm as employees as well as clients.”
