Do you know if you should be a sole trader, partnership, LLP or a corporation?

Your choice of business structure depends on a number of important factors like the size of your business, the nature of operations, the running costs and administrative burden you are willing to deal with, funding and your personal preference.

Each structure has its own trade-offs, so it’s essential to weigh up the pros and cons carefully. Pick one that is not right for you and the chances are you will be picking up a bill when you have to change it later on.

Richard Wrightson, a legal advisor in the company commercial team at Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors, is holding a free legal advice session to talk through the differences in business structures and their various benefits and limitations so that you can make the right decision for how to set up or re-structure your business.

When – Wednesday 25 September 2024, noon – 2pm, includes a complimentary buffet lunch (please specify any dietary requirements when booking your place).

Where – Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors York Office, 19 Clifford Street, YO1 9RJ

Who should attend – Business owner/manager responsible for decisions about the business structure.

How to book a place – The learning lunch session is limited to a maximum of 12 people. Email s.edwards@crombiewilkinson.co.uk to reserve your place by 16 September 2024. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
