Our Commitment to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

At Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors, we are committed to providing an inclusive, respectful and supportive environment for our clients, colleagues and everyone we work with. Equality, diversity and fairness are fundamental to who we are, and we strive to ensure that no one is treated less favourably because of a protected characteristic.

As a firm, it is our collective responsibility to ensure no one is discriminated against on the grounds of:

  • disability
  • gender reassignment
  • marriage or civil partnership
  • pregnancy or maternity
  • race (including colour, nationality, and ethnic or national origins)
  • religion or belief
  • sex
  • sexual orientation

This commitment applies to every aspect of our work – from how we recruit, train and support our staff, to how we interact with clients, potential clients, suppliers and other third parties.

How We Promote Equality and Diversity

  • We embed equality and diversity principles into our hiring, training, promotion and day‑to‑day management processes.
  • All staff are expected to treat others with dignity, respect and professionalism at all times.
  • We regularly review our policies and practices to ensure they remain compliant, fair and accessible.
  • As a firm regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), we routinely monitor diversity across our workforce and participate in the SRA’s biennial diversity data collection.

Workforce Diversity Data

Every two years we invite our employees to complete an anonymous equality and diversity questionnaire. The data collected helps us understand the makeup of our workforce and identify areas where we can continue to improve.

The information we publish here follows data protection requirements. Our staff are not obligated to respond to the questionnaire and not all staff chose to take part, so the published results reflect the responses received at the time of the questionnaire in June 2025.

You can view the responses from our questionnaire in June 2025 here.
