Emma Morris

Senior Associate Solicitor

Emma Morris is a Senior Associate Solicitor in our Private Client team, based at our Malton office looking after clients in Ryedale. Her practice areas are Probate, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Emma qualified as a solicitor in October 1997 after undertaking a history degree in Hull and CPE and a commendation in Legal Practice at the College of Law in York.

She has previously worked for our firm for 21 years within our Dispute Resolution Team before returning to us in November 2021.

Emma is an Accredited Lifetime Lawyer of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly known as Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE)). Find out more here.

She helps clients prepare Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney’s or works with them to help administer estates. She is currently spending a lot of time working with agricultural clients alongside the NFU, helping them with succession planning and business resilience. She enjoys spending time listening to clients to help them work out what they really need and then work with them to achieve it.

Emma is supervised by Sharon Richardson - Director and Head of Private Client Team.
