James Cornforth

James joined our firm in September 2022 as a Paralegal in our Commercial Property department.

He assists with all areas of commercial property including the lease, purchase and sale of industrial units, retail units and offices. Being a former farmhand and from a farming background he has firsthand experience with the farming industry and a particular interest in agricultural law.

James has assisted with the sale of purchase of bare land, overage agreements, adverse possession, short-term grazing licences, first registration of land and the drafting of partnership agreements for farming families.

In his spare time, James pursues mountaineering and triathlons as a hobby. He enjoys listening to audiobooks and folk music, playing chess, and travelling around the UK.

James is supervised by Amy Clarkson - Senior Associate Solicitor and Head of Agricultural Law team.
