Solicitor

Karen is a qualified Solicitor in our Private Client team. She qualified as a Solicitor in July 2024. The work she undertakes for clients includes Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications. 

Before joining our law firm in April 2022, Karen has taken a non-traditional route into law, having spent approximately 15 years as a fully qualified teacher working throughout the primary age range. She has developed her skills working with parents as well as professionals such as educational psychologists, social workers and the school nursing teams. After an extensive period of re-training, 

Karen graduated from the University of Law with a distinction in her Legal Practice Course in 2019. 

Karen is supervised by Sharon Richardson – Director and Head of the Private Client team.
