Neil is a Director and Head of the Dispute Resolution Team based at our York office. Neil joined our firm in November 2003.

  • Practice area - Commercial & Civil Dispute Resolution, Employment Law, Insolvency
  • Qualified as a solicitor in August 1996
  • He is one of only a small number of solicitors in North Yorkshire who have been awarded the prestigious Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) qualification by the Law Society.
  • Neil has been awarded three separate Mediation accreditations namely in Commercial/Civil, Employment/Workplace and Interpersonal Mediation.
  • Neil is retained by a large local Authority for the purposes of Community Mediation.
  • He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, Industrial Law Society and Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates.
  • Neil has been recognised as a Leading Mediator in The Legal 500 2023.

Neil has over twenty years experience advising businesses of all sizes, as well as individuals in relation to employment issues and disputes of all types. Neil has particular expertise in employment and business disputes as well as insolvency matters.
