Laura Parke
Laura is a Solicitor in our Family Law team at our Selby office. She qualified as a Solicitor in May 2025.
She joined us as a Legal Assistant in December 2021 and was promoted to Paralegal in May 2023. She started her training contract with Crombie Wilkinson in November 2023 and qualified in May 2025 into our Family Law team.
Laura’s work is predominantly in private children, divorce and financial matters. She also does Cohabitation and Prenuptial Agreements.She is responsible for conducting the Legal Aid assessments for the family team and can help advise clients on their eligibility for public funding. She is committed to building a relationship of trust with clients and keeping them updated and ensuring they constantly understand what is happening and the next steps in their proceedings.
She completed her Law degree (LLB) at The University of York with a 2:1 in 2019 and her Legal Practice Course with Masters (LPC-LLM) with distinction at The University of Law in 2021.
Laura is a member of Resolution. This requires her to follow the Resolution Code of Practice with the aim of approaching family issues constructively and in a non-inflammatory way.
Laura is supervised by Mark Robinson - Director and Head of Family Law team..
