We are pleased to appoint two new Directors

North Yorkshire based law firm Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors continues its business growth strategy with the appointment of two new Directors; Orlando Bridgeman and Greg Cross are appointed as Directors from 1 May 2019.

Orlando and Greg’s promotion is a testament to their hard work and dedication alongside the firm’s culture of personal and professional development – demonstrated in the emphasis put on delivering the firms core values.

I am also pleased to confirm that the firm has been reaccredited by Lexcel England and Wales for The Law Society quality mark in excellence in legal practice management and client care for which the new Directors have worked with our teams to achieve”

Orlando is based at the firm’s Malton office, having joined Crombie Wilkinson from a London firm in 2014. His work includes Wills, Trusts and administration of estates and advice on tax planning.

He has built on the firm’s expertise in agricultural law with a specialism in advising on succession planning for farming families. He is a member of the Agricultural Law Association and has gained experience in tax planning and understanding the wider legal concerns affecting the rural community.

A regular contributor to the local press, Orlando has established a reputation for explaining complex ideas in plain English. In 2017 Orlando qualified as a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners following completion of the Diploma in Trusts and Estates. The qualification represents the gold standard for private client practitioners. Orlando has served on the Council of the Yorkshire Law Society since 2015.

Greg commenced his training in 2009 with a West Yorkshire based firm specialising in Family and Criminal law before qualifying in 2011. Greg’s preference and passion is family law and he has developed his expertise in this area. Greg joined Crombie Wilkinson in March 2015 and is a Family Law solicitor working out of the Malton, Pickering and York offices.  His work includes advising on divorce, separation, financial remedy and child arrangements. Greg is a member of Resolution, which adopts a non confrontational but robust approach to family law. He is also accredited by the Law Society under their Family Advanced scheme, demonstrating extensive knowledge and expertise in children and financial provision matters. Greg is also an accredited Resolution Collaborative lawyer offering an alternative route to resolving relationship breakdown.
