Each year we choose a charity at each of our offices to support and raise funds for for a 12 month period. Our staff were asked to nominate charities they would like to be considered and these were voted on to pick a chosen charity for each office.
We are delighted to announce the four charities we will be raising funds and awareness for over the next year are:

Malton office – Yorkshire Air Ambulance
It may surprise you to know that the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Charity relies on the generosity of individuals and organisations to help save lives across Yorkshire. As a Charity they only receive help through secondment of paramedics from the NHS, through Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust. To keep both of Yorkshire’s air ambulances in the air they need to raise £12,000 per day, equivalent to £4.4 million per year. As a rapid response air emergency service the Charity serves a population of approximately 5 million people across 4 million acres.
The swift medical interventions provided by our Air Ambulance crews have a major impact on a patient’s chance of survival and subsequent quality of life. Yorkshire has a vast topography that not only includes remote, rural and densely populated areas but also includes major motorways and road networks such as the M62, M1, A1 and M18. They are leading the fight for a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges. They are there to make sure young people get the best possible mental health support and have the resilience to overcome life’s difficulties.
The crisis in children and young people’s mental health is real and it is urgent. More children and young people than ever before are reaching out for help with their mental health.
