We are thrilled to announce that Crombie Wilkinson has once again been awarded the prestigious Lexcel accreditation by the Law Society, following a comprehensive assessment in March 2025.
A Testament to Excellence
The Assessor, after meticulously reviewing our policies, documents, and files, and conducting several staff interviews, has confidently recommended our continued Lexcel accreditation. This reaccreditation is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence, and we are incredibly proud of the significant contributions made by every member of our team.
What is Lexcel?
Lexcel is the Law Society's quality mark for excellence in legal practice management and client care. Holding this accreditation means we meet rigorous standards that only 16% of law firms in the country achieve, and we are proud to be recognised towards the top end of this elite group.
What This Means for Our Clients
Our Lexcel accreditation ensures that our clients receive exceptional service and peace of mind, knowing that we adhere to the highest standards of practice management and client care. This reaccreditation reinforces our promise to provide reliable, efficient, and professional legal services.
Innovative and Ahead of the Game
The Assessor noted our firm's dedication to continuous improvement and innovation, highlighting several ongoing projects that set us apart from other firms. Initiatives we have been working on in the past 12 months include:
- Live in-matter and improved end of matter client feedback to give clients opportunities to let us know how we are doing.
- We are trialling Live Chat on our website to give visitors another way to contact us.
- Building up our profile on ReviewSolicitors online reviews, an independent review online platform so prospective clients can read what existing clients say about our service to help them make a choice.
- The introduction of Legl for client payments - giving clients a more modern alternative to paying their bills, e.g. from their phone using Apple or Google Pay, as well as just by clicking a link rather than having to go to their own online banking app.
- Advanced stages on reviewing different case management systems and the use of AI tools - opportunity to improve the software to make work easier for staff and ultimately benefit our clients.
- Continued investment in our transparent career progression programme to build a strong leadership and succession planning group to future proof the firm.
These initiatives are prime examples of our core values: #ContinuousImprovement, #ClientCentred, and #Citizenship.
A Team of High Calibre
We are grateful to our staff interviewees, who were praised for their enthusiasm and strong working relationships. The Assessor remarked on the high calibre of our team, emphasising our collective commitment to delivering outstanding work for our clients.
Future Commitment
We remain dedicated to upholding these standards and continuously improving in all aspects of our firm. Our commitment to excellence will continue to drive us forward, ensuring we meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and the professional community.
