We are thrilled to announce the promotion of 9 outstanding staff members, effective from 1 April 2025, as part of our sixth year of the Career Progression Programme. Since its inception in 2019, this transparent and merit-based initiative has led to 43 promotions, ranging from Associate, Senior Associate, and Director roles.

Duncan Morter, Managing Director, expressed his pride in these advancements: “Our commitment to career development and recognising exceptional contributions is unwavering. These promotions, earned on merit, challenge the notion that only lawyers can lead a law firm. We reward dedication, passion, and alignment with our values, and we have promoted people across all areas of the business. This programme strengthens our support culture and showcases the depth of expertise within our award-winning team, contributing to our succession planning. Congratulations to our promoted colleagues.”

Louise Walker, newly promoted to Director said: “My journey at Crombie Wilkinson began in 2003 as an Office Assistant during my gap year before starting University. I trained with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in our Dispute Resolution Department in 2010. Keen for a new challenge, I took on the role of Risk & Compliance Manager in 2022. The firm has encouraged and invested significant time in my professional development over the years and I am very proud to now take on this new position as Director. I am looking forward to continuing working alongside a brilliant team of colleagues, contributing towards our ambitious growth and maintaining the long standing success of the firm in the years ahead.”

Emma Campbell, newly promoted Associate Solicitor, shared her journey: “I am very proud to be promoted to Associate Solicitor as part of the firm’s career progression programme. Since finding out I was being offered an Associate position, I have been looking back at where it all started. My first involvement with Crombie Wilkinson was in 2016 when I completed a two week work experience placement before I joined the Family team as a Paralegal in April 2018. The firm have invested in my development and supported me throughout my career, whether that be during my time on work experience, or working as a Paralegal, as a Trainee Solicitor or as a Solicitor.  With the help of those at Crombie Wilkinson, I have achieved so much, and I am excited to get started in my new role as an Associate Solicitor.
